This katana, of maru construction (丸, forged from a single piece of steel), comes without a presentation box and with a natural, varnished wooden scabbard, unlacquered, allowing the wood grain to show through. The manufacturer confirms that it is a forged katana with a real edge, of the standard dimensions for this type of piece (approximately 100 cm in total length). The contrast between the light-coloured scabbard and the braided brown cord handle gives it a natural and understated appearance.
