This tantō (短刀) is forged from 1050 carbon steel and is presented in a decorative version, without a real edge ("Lame: Non tranchante"). Unlike the katana from the same line, which has a dark green mottled scabbard, this tantō features a distinct and very striking finish: a very dark navy blue lacquer traversed by a pattern of golden cracks, similar to the effect of cracked ice, combined with a handle in braided dark green cord.
