This katana is forged from 1050 carbon steel, a simple yet robust steel widely used in functional katanas due to its excellent balance of hardness and cost. It features differential tempering, leaving a subtle suguha (直刃) line along the edge. Visually, the combination of a glossy black scabbard and a braided brown cord handle stands out, creating a classic and understated contrast within the catalogue.
