M1A1 Paratrooper Carbine with Folding Stock, without Sling – USA 1942
Availability: 3 in stock
SKU: PSL-007The M1A1 carbine is the paratrooper version of the American M1 .30 caliber carbine, a lightweight, semi-automatic carbine that was the standard-issue sidearm of the United States Army in World War II and the Korean War. Instead of a full wooden stock, the M1A1 features a pistol grip and a wire stock that folds to the side, allowing parachutists to keep the weapon strapped to their bodies and deploy it upon landing. It was used by, among others, the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions.
This replica reproduces the M1A1 with its folding stock and wooden pistol grip. It measures 90 cm with the stock extended; its mechanism simulates loading and firing, and the magazine is removable. This version is supplied without a sling.
