This katana is forged from a single piece of 1060 carbon steel (maru construction, 丸), with differential tempering that leaves a clearly visible, wavy temper line along the edge, evoking the appearance of traditional Japanese blades. Its textured guard, reminiscent of scales, along with the deep violet hilt, gives it a distinctive and striking character within the range.

The manufacturer also presents this piece under the name Murasaki no Kiba (紫の牙), the Purple Fang, with its own story: it is said to have been forged in a secluded workshop for a noble warrior, guardian of imperial secrets; that the violet of its hilt represents nobility and the link between the world of men and the world of spirits; that the golden details are fragments of an ancient imperial seal; and that its guard evokes a mythical, protective serpent watching over its wielder. It is a story created by the manufacturer as part of the product's identity, not a documented historical fact.
