Japanese Forged 1045 Wakizashi in Red - Cherry Blossom
Out of stock
SKU: WAK-009This wakizashi (脇差) is forged from 1045 carbon steel and is the counterpart, within the same line, to the katana with a red galuchat scabbard and cherry blossom motif. It shares the same scabbard made of genuine red-dyed galuchat leather (ray skin), with its characteristic grained texture, and the same gold cherry blossom (桜, sakura) motif on the kashira and next to the tsuba. The manufacturer confirms that the blade is sharpened to a true edge. Currently out of stock on the original website.
