Its blue and black blade is engraved with the inscription 悪鬼滅殺 ("to annihilate evil demons"), the Hashira's oath, and is completed with a hexagonal maroon and gold tsuba (鍔), a white tsuka-ito (柄糸) with blue diamonds, and a black saya (鞘) with gold fittings. The blade is unsharpened, making it safe for display and cosplay.
